At Howard County Chiropractic, you will find the county’s newest, most state of the art chiropractic and conservative care facility. Large, private chiropractic treatment rooms, massage rooms and acupuncture rooms assure all of our patients receive the personal attention they require and our large open space rehabilitation area (complete with music and/or the large screen TV showing the latest news or game) provides the perfect atmosphere for completing the prescribed exercises.

Patient Paperwork
Prior to your first visit we ask that you download , print and fill out some patient paperwork. The paperwork not only allows us to process your visit quickly and effectively, it gives the doctors valuable insight to your condition and medical history.
If you do not have the means to print your and fill out your paperwork at home, please be sure to arrive at the office 15-20 minutes prior to your appointment time to fill it out at the office. Depending on your insurance, there may be additional forms to fill out when you arrive.
Consultation / History / Examination
In order to determine your actual problem, the doctor will spend some time discussing the reason for your visit and will ask you various questions, both general and specific related to your condition. Next, a comprehensive evaluation including chiropractic, orthopedic, and neurologic tests will be performed to determine the correct diagnosis.
X-Ray, MRI or other Studies
Depending on your symptoms and/or examination findings it may be necessary to obtain x-rays, an MRI or other types of studies. Our office is well networked throughout the county with various facilities to ensure our patients can obtain the appropriate study in a timely and convenient manner.
First Treatment
If all goes well with the initial examination most patients will receive their first treatment. Treatment options may include spinal adjustments, physical therapies, soft tissue treatments, massage and/or acupuncture.
Patient Homework
After your first treatment you will be sent home with a written treatment plan that discusses activities and stretches that you can do at home. Your treatment plan will also outline for you everything the doctor is recommending for the weeks to come (number of visits, nutritional supplements, ice/heat treatments, etc.)
Schedule Your Next Appointment
Upon check out at the front desk, you will be given the opportunity to schedule your next visit. Depending on what the doctor’s recommendations are, your next visit could be within the next few days.
